This weekend we visited Berkovitza and visited with Roma families from our inviting church. They were super welcoming and took us on an excursion in the mountains. Here is us with our teammates, Michelle and Donna. The fall leaves were beautiful.
We stopped at this mountain hostel to warm up with some tea and we found this sign rather funny. Be sure not to eat the turtles. Take note of the fork and spoon making it clear for even those of us who can't read Bulgarian yet.

HI GUYS THE COLORS THERE ARE SO MUCH BRIGHTER THAN THEY WERE IN TN LAST WEEK DUE TO THE DROUGHT. GREAT STUFF!! I DO NOT WANT ANY TURTLE!!! LOVE ALWAYS MOM
I can't wait to see that little Gypsy! Only 7 more months to go. I guess I'll have to come over & get my hands on him/her. Sounds like everything is going well! God Bless!
